Supporting people across South London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex

Did you know…

The first genome took 13 years to analyse!

When can I expect my results?

Patients can expect their results 18-24 months after the time of consent.  In some instances, this can take a little longer.  Mark Caulfield (Chief Executive and Chief Scientist Genomics England) has addressed the turn around time of results in a letter sent to all participants.  In this letter he has pledged to return almost all results back to GMC’s by July 2019.  A copy of this letter along with a short video can be found here.

You can also check the status of your results by using the online facility on the Genomics England website called “Track my sample“.
